The Residences
Six residences on the upper floors of the townhouse, each restored in the Georgian manner and answering to a private butler through the night.
A panelled retreat over Curzon Street, with a marble bath, working fireplace, and a butler on call from dusk to first light.
A double-aspect suite across the front of the house, with a private high-limit table, dedicated butler, and a terrace over the square.
The crown of the house — an entire floor with a private dining room, a resident chef, and a dedicated casino host at any hour.
The Gaming Rooms
Eight private rooms across the ground and first floors. No clocks, no crowds — only green baize, brass lamps, and the members who know the door.
Nightly punto banco and chemin de fer in the panelled salon, tables from £500 to no ceiling for approved members.
European and French wheels only, spun on hand-balanced tables beneath the original crystal.
Cash games and invitational tournaments, hosted through the Mayfair Poker Series each season.
Two closed rooms for the highest limits, booked through your host and yours alone for the evening.
Four degrees of membership. One is earned; the last is only ever offered.
The Table
Three rooms, one kitchen, and a devotion to the British larder. Reservations open to members and their guests.
Dry-aged native beef, whole grouse in season, and a trolley carved tableside, in a room that has served the house since 1911.

The Season
Black tie on every floor — a champagne tower, a live orchestra, and the rooms open until dawn.
Our flagship members' tournament. £10,000 buy-in, no rake, winner keeps the Ashcroft Cup.

Our Story
Number seven was built in 1848 as a private residence, and for the better part of a century it stayed one — a Mayfair townhouse that changed hands quietly and kept its curtains drawn. In 1911 a small circle of members took the lease, laid green baize in the drawing rooms, and agreed on a single rule that has never changed: what happens in the house stays in the house.
They did not gut it. They restored it — keeping the fireplaces, the plasterwork, the creak in the third stair — and added only what a great house needs: a proper kitchen, a bathhouse below, and rooms upstairs for members who would rather not leave. What remains is a place where luxury is measured not in marble but in discretion.
We keep The Ashcroft deliberately small. Six residences. Eight rooms. One door. We would rather be known to a few than found by many.
